Surviving isolation and how to keep stress at bay during a pandemic
Finding ourselves in an unfamiliar situation we might feel helpless, faced with new-found fears and anxieties. The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly made our lives more stressful, bringing thoughts and fears of death more to the forefront of our minds, and weighing us down with such questions as: Are we infected or not? Should we see a doctor or not? Should we go outside or not? Will we lose our job or not? Will we have enough money in our bank account or not? Isolation itself can be unbearable. But if we are afraid of it, should we tell someone? If yes, whom? Will they be able to help us? Ultimately, what can we do about it all?
